About US

A sport, spinal and orthopaedic rehabilitation practice. We aim to treat the cause of the patient’s problem and not only the symptoms concerned. Patients are given the “tools” and means to re-gain their pre-injury and functional status as well as to maintain and make long-term improvements. International research by T Flynn et.al. Indicates that 95% of patients seen within 14 days of spinal injury do not return with same pathology within a 6 month period. However, 60% return if only seen in chronic phase.
  • Early intervention
  • Holistic treatment/approach
  • Education & lifestyle changes
  • Research in South Africa
  • Decreased risk of injury
  • Strengthen of core muscles
  • Stretching of certain shortened muscles
  • Exercise with back support if needed
  • Patient education
Every patient’s exercise and rehabilitation program is based on the biomechanical evaluation done and is tailor made for the patient’s needs. Each patient is treated uniquely and individual attention is given.
Early intervention is essential. A smart specific program, with life adjustments for the individual patient. Note: Medical aid tendencies in South Africa currently leans more towards a conservative treatment plan before a more aggressive approach.

OUR TEAM

Driven by passion for healing, we aim to facilitate the rehabilitation of all patients to the highest of standards.
